3 Tradeshows in 9 days – Establishing growth for our clients in Europe!

The pandemic has caused almost all tradeshows to be cancelled. In the past few weeks tradeshows in Europe went live again and we took the opportunity to attend them to accelerate growth of our clients in the European market.

One of our clients is a leading US based manufacturer of therapy devices for animals. With currently limited presence in the European market, GrowthMedics has the objective to develop awareness of the technology and build a sustainable market presence.

Networking, working with Key Opinion leaders, building new distributor partnerships and references, but also case studies from the European field are a necessity to build trust and revenue in local European markets.

Especially in these times since people are very busy and difficult to reach, tradeshows allows to create faster and more reliable personal new connections. It even more allowed us to provide live demonstrations. The pandemic even showed the value of tradeshows even more and a great occasion for companies trying to establish a footprint.

London Vet Show (London, UK)Over 15 meetings with universities, clinics and distributors has resulted into new access, possibilities for demonstration and an exclusive partnership with a distributor having access to over 2000 clinics in the UK. Next steps are to facilitate training and on-site demo’s while working on a sales and market plan to launch a successful partnership in the UK market. More-over it allowed us to present our solutions to the 2 largest national associations in the UK vet market. The London Vet show is usually the largest international vet show in Europe, however due to Covid-19 many visitors and exhibitors were from the UK.

Medica (Dusseldorf, Germany) As Medica being the largest medical show many distributors, OEMS and other stakeholders came to visit or exhibit at the show. A great opportunity for GrowthMedics to meet with clients and partners. More-over it allowed us to schedule meetings for our clients for accountmanagement and new business development purposes.
With 35 meetings in 3 days and 8 new distributor partnership opportunities for our clients, we look back at a very successful show. With 26,000 visitors, Medica showed again they are the most recognized platform for the medical device industry.

DVG show (Berlin, Germany) one of the leading veterinary shows in the German market allowed us to engage with key German players in the vet industry. It allowed us to meet with associations, Group Purchasing organizations, clinic chains as well as key distributors. Due to the rising infections in Germany, the show was slow offering us a better opportunity to network.

Very fruitful new relationships were developed and new demonstration possibilities are scheduled. More-over several distributors indicated an interest and a negotiation with the largest GPO will be discussed. 12 meetings in one day resulting into a very successful outcome.
